Providing these 12 entrepreneurs with Mentors to grow their business, ultimately allows growth in the sector, leading to future job opportunities for youth in our country. We are dedicated to the development of skilled youth, to fill newly created jobs, in rapidly expanding industries, such as fashion!

What are you expecting from the entrepreneurs?
To implement newly taught skills and display their growth over the last few months, with concrete results. Ultimately for them to pay it forward!
What does leadership mean to you?
Leadership for me is being able to influence others to accomplish any objective that they may have, whether it is cognitive or not. I believe in motivating, providing opportunities and enabling others to access opportunities that benefit them and ultimately their family and peers.

Which book would you recommend to our entrepreneurs?
Good to Great by James. C Collins. It’s a great book for aspiring entrepreneurs filled with insighful lessons.
What is the best business advice you have received?
My History high school teacher said to me, “Growth is in the mind. Think it and it shall be. Always think silver lining even amidst difficult times.” In everything I do, I try by all means to think of a silver lining and push forward.
What advice do you have for Threads 12 participants?
Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do and cannot do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.
