‘Slang’ : 2BOP’s new collection inspired by Apple II game snake

Based on the 1978 Apple II game Snake, Slang celebrates the hypnotic monochrome of a singular continuous line and pixelated dot.

2BOP is returning to its beginnings with this bold 15 piece capsule; all-over prints, bucket hats and a re-imagined logo, all quintessential 2Bop design elements since our birth in 2004 yet reinterpreted anew with an evolved sense of silhouette and fabrication.

About 2Bop

We draw design inspiration from the liminal space between the fantasy realm of video-game graphics and Cape Town corner store culture. We manufacture everything in our studio workshop in Cape Town where machinists are paid well above industry standard. These practices as well as the realities of being a small volume brand from South Africa, necessitates that we design and deliver direct to customer in the same season.
